Portrait Lighting Reflection Questions

I think my best shot in this assignment is the photo for the broad lighting because it is his face is slightly facing away from the center and is edited to make it look better.The weakest shot in this assignment was the photo for loop because the shadow under is not very defined and can be hard to see.I think the loop picture could have been improved if the light was in a different place so the shadow would be more noticeable.I used Photoshop to edit the levels and the hue/saturation of the photos.I was able to meet the goals for this assignment by having people model while I moved the light in different places.It was easy to change the lighting in the photos because I was able to change the position of the light.It was difficult to get pictures with loop lighting because the shadow wasn't showing up clearly. If I could do this assignment again I would use more different colored lights.
On a scale from 1-10 I would rate my effort a 9.5 on this project because I changed the lighting for each photo but there is always room for improvement.

This picture shows brightness and sharpness because it is colorful and the picture is clear and not grainy.  3. Reflection Questions: Motion Photography

I think my best shot in this assignment is the 4th one because it's in blurred motion and it clearly shows the objects movement, the colors are also appealing to the eye. The weakest shot in this assignment was the 2nd one because the color of the dye dropped in the water was close to the same color as the water so it wasn't as clear. I think the 2nd picture could have been improved if the water was clean or if I used a darker dye. I used Photoshop to edit the levels and the hue/saturation. I was able to meet the goals for this assignment by having people move different lighting up objects while I took many pictures. It was easy to take the blurred motion photos because I had people move the objects in different ways to create different looks in the pictures. It was difficult to take stop motion pictures because the color of the water was close to the color of the dye. If I could do this assignment again I would take different photos to show stop motion.
